Important John "Cornbread" Anderson "Peacock" Folk Art Painting that is in fine detail and one of his most sought after paintings. This one is one of five known and only two in this larger size. Signed on back. The painting is stunning in detail with hand done painting on the feathers and the Eye which is just iconic of his works. This is a prized example and the first one offered by Cagle Auction, and the only known to surface at auction. The three smaller ones are in private collections and one other is in a private collection. A must form the southern folk art collector. Condition is excellent. This is a Large painting for Cornbread and will make a statement in any collection. Size is frame to frame – 53" Tall x 53" Wide
