Stunning Edgefield, South Carolina Signed "I" Isaac Durham Six Gallon Jar. This jar has some of the finest eye appeal one could ever want, a glaze that is just outstanding, fluid, glassy, and with celadon glaze. Large lug lifter handles pulled rim and bulbous form. These are highly important examples in southern stoneware due to scarcity, eye appeal, signature and condition. Folks this is a Cagle "Top Shelf Example" noteworthy in any museum or collection. Fresh to the market example from the Terry Collection of Greenville, South Carolina. Condition: Has a base firing line, jar rings true. No chips, no hairlines and No repairs. Standing: 16 7/8" Tall
