Signed Crawford Co. CJB 1/2 Gallon Jug
Description
Signed Crawford County "CJB" Columbus Jackson Becham (1862-1928) 1/2 Gallon Jug. 1880s time period. This exceptionally stamped CJB is just fantastic with a beautiful lime and paint rock alkaline glaze that gives this half gallon jug exceptional eye appeal. Examples in this caliber are extremely difficult to find with condition, glaze and form and signature. Also note half gallon examples are extremely difficult to come by especially in collector grade condition. This example has a strong stamp on the handle and is in collector grade condition with a few insignificant glazed flakes. No chips cracks or repairs present. Provenance: from a 40 plus-year private collection. A Cagle top shelf example that you will not be disappointed with. Standing: 7 ???" Tall
