Scarce Signed Atlanta Rufus Brown Pint Jug
Description
Rare Signed Atlanta Rufus Brown Pint Jug (1872-Unknown Death Date) Also noted that he turned in Lanier County Georgia. Son of Thomas Brown. This is a very scarce example, only second known and is on of the more sought after examples of signed Atlanta Brown utilitarian stoneware. The jug is stamped on the top shoulder and is a dark greenish brown alkaline glaze. Standing 6 3/8" Tall
