Stellar Rex Hogan Woodpecker Figural 2006 of Cleveland Georgia. This is a stellar example of Southern Folk Pottery, one of the master of folk pottery. Rex is known for using traditional southern techniques and it truly shows in this example. The detail is out of this world and shows the folky craft as well. The carved tree with the woodpecker with a worm in its mouth is just outstanding with correct coloring. Perfect for the Birdwatching enthusiast & southern folk pottery collector. Circa 2006 & signed. Mint condition and stands 14 1/2" Tall
