Fine Billy Ray Hussey Salt Galzed Lion, from the early 2000s and is marked BH with kiln load # 57 on the base of the lion. Strong handsome salt glaze with cobalt mane and great facial features make for a stellar example of Billys work, and has that very attractive 19th century look from the firing. One of the best southern folk potters of all time. Mint condition. Standing 5 3/4" Tall x 7 1/2" Long
