Early Alabama John Barnes 4 Gallon Jar
Description
Significant, Early Alabama John Barnes (1825-1887) 4 Gallon Jar in collector grade condition from the 1850-60 time period from Randolph County, Alabama. This jar has a stunning lime alkaline glaze, with great eye appeal, and also shows five concentric line decoration, note this jar is not 5 gallons but 4. Condition: VG-EXC; a few ware chips present, no hairlines or repairs. This jar is also accompanied with the original catch cloth for straining. Jar rings true and is water tight. Standing: 18" Tall.
