Stunning Edgefield, South Carolina signed Trap & Chandler Decorated Two Gallon Storage Jar with iron slip loop and swag decoration. The size is one of the more sought after examples and very few examples are known, even in this monumental condition. Mature glaze with strong celadon runs along the base of the lug handles. Collector grade example with strong stamp and decoration. This is a stunning example with major eye appeal. Standing: 11 3/4″ Tall

Condition: Has a firing line to the left of the stamp to the top of the loop, note the jar rings true and is water tight also does not distract in any way io our opinion. No chips and no repairs, as discovered over 40 years ago at a Birmingham, Alabama flea market.
