SHIPPING & Pick Up (Please Read Before Bidding)
Description
Pick Up will be from Tuesday – Friday Only from 11am-4:30 PM Est. Make sure you have boxes and packing material for your items. It is not uncommon for shipping prices to higher than the hammer price, we also can combine on shipping when possible. We use new boxes and packing materials for when lots are shipped. We can combine items when possible but strongly recommended that Cagle Auction packs your items. When shipping items through UPS or any carrier we will make the customer sign for items, this protects you (The Customer) from the shipping company dropping your claim if something happens-damage or lost/stolen. Carrier insurance compiane’s will 99% of the time drop a claim if signature required is Not present, epically for (porch pirates) etc. Shipping Instructions: Items will ship as quickly as possible by UPS, or USPS on special circumstances. PICKUP – is available during days and times posted only. It is the bidder’s responsibility to take shipping, handling, and insurance into consideration when bidding. Item liability transfers to the bidder upon a successful bid and close of particular lot. All items packed and shipped by Cagle Auction Company Inc. shall not be held liable for any loss or damage that may occur before, during or after shipping. If invoice is paid and shipping is Not paid within 12 Days, Items are Forfeited with No refunds or Credits, Period!!! We do In-House Shipping, We Strongly Recommend this over Any other shipping option. Folks Please understand Cagle Auction has zero control over shipping $ prices. Also if you live on the west coast it will cost more simply due to logistics and overhead of any company. Also note New Packing materials, labor and overhead are Not Free. We charge a $12.50 Per Invoice Fee to take and drop off your items at shipper and get in hand a receipt for (chain of custody). Signature required is mandatory, this protects You the Buyer, and the Cagle Auction. Once Item is in custody of UPS, UPS, DHL, FedEx or for hire etc. or any shipper-carrier that the buyer designates, Cagle Auction Co. is Not responsible or liable for damages, its between the buyer and carrier. Its also not uncommon for items to have a higher shipping charge than what you paid (hammer Price+Buyers Preminum & Tax ) for the item, Cagle Auction has no control of the hammer price or the shipping and handling price.
