Southern Wax Sealer Stoneware Canning Jar
Description
Outstanding Southern Wax Sealer Stoneware Canning Jar with heavy iron glaze pops in the clay body. Possible Texas origin but this form is not indicative of the state, but the glaze is. Until a signed example surfaces, these will be a mystery to collectors. Collector grade condition with great eye appeal, only one small insignificant base flake and one on the rim. No cracks or repairs. Fresh to the market from a south west Mississippi collection. Standing: 8 3/4" Tall
