Three Gallon Cobalt Decorated Clown Face Churn Stamped CS Kline( 1854-1917 ) Howells Mills Georgia. Circa 1883-1886. This is a highly sought after example due to decoration, stamp and age and condition. This is a fresh to the market jar from a local collection. Great detail in the cobalt decorations with a nice salt glaze that shows for a great background. The condition is very good for age and use, has some minor glaze flaking and one shallow flake in the lip, also a few wear flakes on the rim from age and use. Nothing distracting, overall a great looking jar. No cracks or repairs or major damage. Fresh from a Georgia collection. Standing 14 1/4"
