Description
Significant CJ Meaders Sr. (1884-1934) Decorated Vase by Athens, Georgia artist M. Royk. This is an amazing painted and relief cabin decoration and country scene. This is one that is very scarce and the paint decoration is just fantastic on this vase. The snowy detail and the relief cabin is amazing. Circa 1930. This is almost very close to the double handle syrup jug listed in the book From Mud To Jug by John Burrison page 77 and also on the cover. This is truly once in a lifetime opportunity to own such a scarce example with stellar details and amazing condition. This vase is slip glazed interior and beveled base, also wire cut. Gold trim base and rim area. Folks, simply find another one, truly a rare bird. Standing 15" Tall
Condition: Condition has two small glaze flakes on rim, no other condition issues and no cracks or repairs.
