Signed Martin Eckerbush "ME" (1845 Germany – ?Alabama) Alabama Preserve Jar from 1890-1900 time period. This jar has a strong stamp and eye appeal due to a striking ash glaze. The jar is Cleburne County Alabama shop and is one of Alabama’s more sought after marks. Condition is very good for age and use and has one chip in middle body, no other damage or cracks or repairs. Fresh example out of the Cleveland Georgia collection. Standing 10 1/4" Tall
