Southern Pottery & Folk Art Auction
Lot 57:
Very fine Upstate South Carolina Pitcher that has a very bold slip glaze and kiln drippings around the entire pitcher that just catches the eye. This pitcher is as top shelf as one could find for an unsigned and slip glazed example. Possible Clayton Pottery shop, due to handle size and form. Condition, none better, truly like it was never used. 1900s time period. Standing 10 1/2" Tall
Condition: Mint
