Significant Crawford County, Georgia Signed "FLB" Franklin Lafayette Becham (1871-1958) "FLB" Stamped Half Gallon Fluid Jug. This is truly a top shelf example with outstanding scarce half gallon size and glassy lime glaze with great eye appeal. The form on this jug is just an outstanding tear drop form that stands on its own. Folks, this is the pinnacle of the Becham family potters’ marks. The stamp on the handle is very good and is one collectors of southern marked pieces always search for, and is one of most significant marks sought after in the Becham family of potters. This example will be very hard to upgrade. Condition is collector grade with only a small chip on base, nothing distracting at all, typical for age and use. Simply a rare bird, find another one. Otherwise no condition issues. No cracks or repairs. Fresh example from a North Georgia collection. Standing 8 3/8" Tall
