Fine Crawford County Georgia Signed "BB" Bill Bryant Two Gallon Jar. This is one fine example that is stamped BB on the handle and a 2 on the other one. When it comes to glaze this double dipped style that is of limonite and paint rock alkaline glaze is just killer. Bill worked along side William Dennis "Billy" Merritt (1861-1929) and the forms of Bill Bryant takes after the training from Billy Merritt, hence why they look so similar in forms and glazes. Fresh from a north Georgia collection. Standing 13 3/4" Tall
Condition: Condition, has typical rim glaze chips, drying line at base, not a hairline. No major damage or cracks and no repairs.
