Fine Billy Merritt Crawford Co. 3gal Jug This is a great Billy Merritt (1861-1929) Crawford Co. three gallon wood fired ash glazed that has a high glassy alkaline glaze with strong earthy rich greens, and the handle has a fancy 3 stamped on it. The jug was found in a Jackson County Georgia home. This is a great fresh example and will be a wonderful addition to any southern collection. From the Mona Lowe collection. Stands 14 1/2" Tall
Condition: Condition is fantastic condition with only one minor flea bite in the lip, no major chips, cracks, or repairs.
