Fine 1840s Washington Co. Georgia 1/2gal Jug that bears a rich lime alkaline glaze. The form and handle on this jug is just outstanding. This jug was found in Washington County, Georgia estate by collector Jim Wilcox. The potter is unknown due to unusual handle thin strap. From the Mona Lowe Collection. Standing 9 3/4" Tall

Condition: Condition has a very old glaze flake restoration to the lip and was done to museum standards and stellar job on the color blending. No other condition issues and no other restorations.
