Monumental Signed C.S. Kline Howells Mill, Atlanta, Georgia (1854-1917) Two Gallon Churn that is covered with heavy kiln drips, "turkey droppings" as known locally by potters. This is a fantastic top shelf example that has a strong stamp in the top edge of rim. This churn has a great salt glaze and super strong eye appeal. Note this example is the only example that has had this much kiln dripping that we have offered. Truly a one of a kind example that will fit in any collection, Simply find another one, just an awesome example of southern salt glazed pottery. Standing 12 7/8" Tall
Condition: Condition for age 1870s time period is outstanding with light rim chips and no cracks or repairs. Fresh from a Cleveland Georgia collection.
