Fine sought-after example of CH Bird Stamped "Atlanta" Half Gallon Jug, that is early 1870s time period from Bolton, Georgia. The half gallon jug has a stellar salt glaze with a heavy orange peel that just pops. This is truly a collector grade example with strong desirability of both eye appeal and condition combined with the Atlanta stamp on shoulder. This will one will be very hard to upgrade from. And again as my good friend Mr. Brimberry would say "this one has worn a flea collar its entire life" due to its pristine condition with no repairs. Fresh example found in an Atlanta estate. Standing 8 3/8" Tall
