Simply scarce 1 3/4 Gallon Signed WTB Gordy (1877-1955) Jug. This is a highly significant example with the gallon capacity being 1 3/4 gallon and this is the only one I have seen and a first for Cagle Auction to offer. The jug is in slip glaze around 1900s time period and has a strong stamp on the top shoulder. This is a must for any Gordy collector nevertheless any southern pottery collector. Fresh example from Cleveland, Georgia collection. Standing 13" Tall
Condition: Condition, has a few insignificant flea bites on lip, which is common due to age and use of vessel. No cracks, major chips or repairs.
