Fine signed Mose Tolliver (1919-2006) Folk Art Floral Painting. One of the best African American folk artist in the south. He lived his life as a farm hand, and after the accident which crushed his legs and was not able to work. Sometime around the 1970s when he started painting and in 1981 was his first public showing. This is a fresh piece from a Florida collection and was from him directly in the early 1980s. Outstanding color details and soda tab holder. Significant example of his works. Paint on board.
