Rare Red Devil Jerry Brown (1942-2016) Face Jug. This is a rare example in red and being a quart devil face jug. The jug is signed on bottom & dated 6-99. One of Alabama most sought after folk potters Jerry is noted by the Smithsonian Museum and is also the 1992 National Heritage Fellowship from the National Endowment For The Arts. 2003 Alabama Folk Heritage Award. Also note the Smithsonian Festival of American Folklife. Condition is Mint. Standing 7 5/8" Tall
