Rare #1 Stanley Ferguson, of Gillsville Georgia Snake Face Jug in quart size with a rich green alkaline glaze and just an outstanding face jug with a rattlesnake on the head. In my opinion when it comes to true folk pottery and especially the snakes the Fergusons have mastered the true folk craft in creating the best in snake jugs. The details in this snake jug are outstanding and being the # 1 is highly prized. Mint condition standing 5 3/8" Tall
