One Gallon Atlanta Signed Julius L. Smith(born 1872) Jug. South Carolina born, potter JL Smith was potting in Atlanta in the early 1900s. This 1gal slip glaze jug has a strong stamp and is collector grade condition. Atlanta area signed jugs are becoming more scarce due to the shortage of signed examples and especially of this condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs just a few minor chip flakes which is typical. A true fresh examples standing 10" Tall.
