Significant R. A. Miller (1912-2006) of Rabbit Town Georgia Folk Art Devil Weather Vane or Whirligig. This is a outstanding example of southern self taught folk art. This is a very early example and has outstanding original patina with the classic devil tin cut out. This is a unsigned piece but is authentic and guaranteed, also is from the collection of renowned Late African American Folk Artist Beverly Buchanan, her and R.A. Miller were great friends and would trade art. Again highly important example of southern folk art. Size 33 7/8" Tall on the Devil Cut out 19 1/4" Wide on the directional vane
Condition: Original weathered state that is very good.
