Burlon Craig Folk Pottery Lot
Description
Burlon Craig Folk Pottery Lot of two pieces. Born 1914-2002 he is noted as the most famous contemporary pottery of North Carolina. He is noted in the Smithsonian American Art Museum and also in local southern museums as well. One is fine swirl pig with a great folky look and the other is a fine half pint blue teal glaze that is outstanding. The pig is signed BC and the jug is BBC Vale NC. These are from the Lake Lanier collection and are fresh to the market. Pig is 7 1/4" Wide & the Jug 3 3/8" Tall
