Stunning Don Craig (1945-2015) Decorated Cobalt Sorghum Four Gallon Jug. Son of the famous Catawba Valley Folk Potter Burlon Craig (late) Don was a master potter with outstanding form and glazes. This is a stellar four gallon sorghum jug with rich deep cobalt glass runs & also the wavey line decorations that is seen from older examples form the Catawba Valley region. The jug has stellar form and graceful handles is in fresh from a North Carolina collection. The piece is gem mint ten example with No chips, cracks or repairs. Standing 18" Tall
