Stunning Billy Merritt ( 1861-1929) Crawford Co. Georgia Five Gallon Jar that is signed "BM" on one handle and 5 on the other handle. This jar is outstanding with rich earthy brown and ironish back body for the alkaline glaze that just really run on this jar, simply outstanding. The jar is circa 1880-90. The condition, has had a rim restoration that outstanding and done to museum expectations. No other issue or chips, cracks or repairs. Fresh from a Atlanta area collection. Standing
