Monumental Crawford Co. Monkey Jug Circa 1880-90 time frame. This is a scarce form with a very unusual four gallon in size. These are one of the more sought after forms in Crawford County Georgia. The piece is glaze on the top and unglazed on the rest of the jug with some nice runs on the side. This is very scarce due to size and is in outstanding condition. The jug has a flared spout and has a hand print which is outstanding Strong Merritt attribution. Condition is mint with no chips, cracks or repairs. Standing 13 1/2" Tall x 9" Wide
