Fine Jackson "Jack" Merritt (1859-1935) Crawford Co. Georgia 1gal Jug. Circa 1880s. This is a great and hard to find example with the early Fishhook style "J" stamp on the top handle. The jug is a rich paint rock alkaline glaze. The jug is one gallon in size and is in near mint condition, with two insignificant glaze flakes on the lip edge. No major chips, cracks or repairs. Standing 11" Tall
