Description
Fine North Carolina Daniel Cagle (1854-1926) Four gallon Churn in salt glaze and a scratched four under the lug handle, note the lug handle is very much identical to Daniel Cagle lug handles. The churn is circa1870-80s and has a outstanding look. Outstanding sloping shoulder. This is a scarce example with very few known. Also this is a two piece construction churn. Fresh from a South Carolina collection. Condition is outstanding with three minor glaze flakes from age and wear, no cracks or repairs. Standing 17 1/2" Tall
