Fine H. A. Wilson Five gallon churn, signed Gillsville, Georgia Slip glaze with an inverted H.A. Wilson pottery company Gillsville, Georgia stamped. Born in 1911 and potted in 1949-51 in Gillsville, Georgia. This is a outstanding example with a rich albany slip glaze and a strong stamp at base with a large 5. The jar is one of your more sought after marks of Georgia pottery. This jar is fresh and in mint condition, No chips, cracks or repairs. Fresh from the Kiser Collection of Hartwell Ga. 18 1/2" Tall
