Fine lot of Carl "Bud" Hewell (Late) Gillsville Ga. Churns 3-5 Son of Maryland Hewell Bud was noted for making some of the finest churns to come out of North Georgia area. These two one three gallon with a slip glaze and small handles done by his wife, the five gallon churn is a stellar rich albany slip glaze that just pops. Both examples 3gal is near mint one small rim flake, and the 5 gallon is mint condition, no cracks or repairs. Fresh from the Kiser collection of Hartwell Georgia. Standing 3gal 14 3/4" Tall & 5gal 17 1/2" Tall
