1996 Michael & Melvin Crocker Double Indian Face Jug. This is a outstanding example of the southern folk pottery tradition in this example here. The piece has amazing details by one of the souths most talented folk potters Melvin Crocker, the details are second to none. The face both on the chief and princess are outstanding. Base is a green alkaline with bristol colored feathers with great eye appeal. A must for the southern folk pottery collector. This is a mint example and is investment grade example, & signed & dated on bottom. Fresh from the Lake Lanier collection and is standing 9 1/2" Tall
