Rare CJ Meaders Sr Decorated Vase 1921
Description
Rare CJ Meaders Sr. (1880-1934) Decorated Vase circa 1921. This is a great and unusual vase design, the third only known we have saw, one example was stamped CJ Meaders, note this example is not signed by CJ, but no doubt a piece by him. Also one sold in the August 6 auction that was made by CJ Meaders and was painted by the same artist B. Clinton. This is the second known example painted by B. Clinton and is from the same collection as the one we sold in August Folk Pottery auction. Fine example that is very scarce and would make a fine addition to any Meaders collection. Fresh and standing 14" Tall
