Rare Kim Black Rattle Snake Charmer Face Jar 2000, this is a very rare example of Kim Blacks work. This snake charmer face jar is outstanding with the classic face and the detailed snake makes this a must for the Kim Black folk pottery collector. The jar is signed and dated which these few examples that we have in this sale is last of Kim’s work. He is no longer making pottery but teaching out in California, and this is the only one like this I have seen before, possibly custom made for her husband. Investment grade example & is fresh out of the Duluth estate collection. Condition is great one small glaze flake on rim edge, very minor & could be colored over very easy. Standing 10 1/2" Tall
