Important Signed J.D. Brewer (1862- Unknown Death Date) of Bogart Georgia, this is a fantastic rare signed churn in two gallon size with a rich slip glaze. The jar is a fresh example of the J. Belknap Smith Plantation in Wilkes County Georgia and has never left the plantation since bought. Brewer pieces signed are very hard to find due to not many pieces were produced. This was found in the smokehouse of the plantation and when it comes to condition this is just outstanding with a few minor glaze flakes on the lug handles. No chips, cracks or repairs on this fresh example. Standing 12 1/2" Tall
