Fine Signed COA Charles Avery 1gal Jug circa 1900. The jug has a outstanding rich modified lime glaze with strong bold run across the entire jug. The jug is a great size, one gallon and has a strong stamp on the handle and speaking on the handle their is a firing crack just below the stamp and is a norm in old stoneware, especially from Crawford County. The handle is in original condition and is not a Hairline or crack. This is the original handle and is no way distracting. The jug is collector grade and has no chips, cracks or repairs and would rate it at a 9.5. Fresh example and will make a great addition to any stoneware collection. Standing 103/4" Tall
