Two Gallon Catawba Valle Cream Riser or possibly a preserve jar, circa 1880’s to early 1900s this is a great two gallon example with heavy detailed rim and two lug lifter handles. The jar has a two scratched into the top shoulder just under the rim-lug. When it comes to condition this one is great. Has a glaze flake under the lug, very minor & a small very tight firing line, and rings true and is water tight. Fresh from a smoke house North Georgia. Standing 8" Tall
