Scarce "CG" Curtis Grover Sr. ( 1891-1961 ) Bishop of Delray Georgia. This One Gallon Jug that bears a slip glaze and is circa 1927-1930 time period and this is a first example of his work we have offered before. This piece has a strong stamp and a great form with nice dark black runs on the jug body. Again a highly sought after example and is fresh from a private collection from south west Atlanta area. Condition is very good with a few minor glaze flakes on the shoulder edge, No major chips, cracks or repairs. Collector grade example. Standing 10 1/2" Tall
