Description
Stellar 1830s White Co. Ga Quart Jug, this is a amazing example of southern stoneware in quart size. The jug is circa early 1830s and is from White County Georgia and has a beautiful lime alkaline glaze with bold runs at the handle. This piece has a forty five degree tapered rim with strap handle very typical of White County pieces. Note in the handle the strong grooved handle. This a top shelf example with No condition issues, this is a Mint example with no chips cracks or repairs. This is a museum quality example and will be a fine welcome to any collection. Fresh from a South Carolina collection. Standing 8 1/4" Tall
