Description
Scarce WTB Gordy (1877-1955) four gallon Homebrew Churn with script "Patent Applied For" on the top shoulder. The jar has the ant defender on the top and is a sought after form. This is the second Gordy homebrew jar Cagle has sold, and the first one with chattermark decoration, & has a classic slip glaze typical of this period. Circa early1900s. Condition is good – very good few typical wear/use chips in the top with glaze flaking on the body which is minor. No cracks or repairs and was painted white at one time which is 99% gone. Standing 17 3/4" Tall
