Significant Signed Francis LaCoste (Coste) (1815 France – 1880 Alabama), Baldwin County, Alabama Jar. Folks one of the most sought after examples from Baldwin County, Alabama. This fantastic signed jar is justoutstanding. The jar is from the early period of the 1850s and bears a salt glaze. The jar has two spots that have and show rim repair, and have not been colored in. The jar has no cracks or other damage. This jar is markedand has correct lug handles found on his wares. This jar was documented by Countryman-Forbes and is documented on their website under Mobile Bay is pictured. Folks find another one, simply that rare and thatgood of a jar. Standing: 13 1/4" Tall
