Description
Outstanding early 1800s North Carolina probably Alamance or Randolph County Quart Lug handle food storage or preserve jar. One of the finest examples of North Carolina to cross the block at Cagle Auction. This jar has an outstanding salt glaze with heavy salt runs in the front and ironish glaze on the rest of the jar. Folks as for condition, you could not ask for any better, Gem Mint 10 Investment-Collector Grade Condition, not even a flea bite, this is the best of best. No chips, cracks or repairs. This is a true southern stoneware gem. Folks find another one. Standing:7 3/4" Tall
