Outstanding 1820s Edgefield Stamped "I" Preserve Jar that has a fine alkaline glaze and strong eye appeal. Stamped I in the rim area. This jar is in great condition with one tight firing line from the rim down to the shoulder of the preserve jar, see pictures. Rings true, no chips and no repairs. Fresh from a North Georgia estate. Standing: 9 1/8" Tall
