Rare Four Gallon Buncombe County, North Carolina * Marked Jar. Highly significant double handle star Mark jar with a strong 4 stamped into the shoulder and just to the right is a large star stamp. This jar is extremely sought after, probably Stone or Penland pottery shops. This jar has outstanding eye appeal and the condition, you really can’t ask for anything better, a collector grade example with a few insignificant base chips no cracks or repairs present.
