Stunning Signed Crawford County Oscar Becham (OAB) Four Gallon Syrup Jug. Hands down a truly monumental signed OAB Crawford County syrup jug with the classic double handles and a glaze that is unmatched in southern stoneware. Folks this example I really don’t have to say much about it simply because it’s that good. Just about all of Oscar’s examples are unsigned this example is signed at the top of the handle with the block stamp unfortunately the glaze filled in the stamp, and you can feel the stamp with your fingers as you run your finger across the top of the handle. The glaze, monumental institutional grade example. In all my years of southern pottery and especially Georgia stoneware I have never seen an example of this caliber buy Oscar Becham. Folks you can look for the next 50 plus years, and you will not see one of this magnitude, this one here will end your search, and you will not be able to upgrade from this example. A Cagle Top Shelf Example folks. Condition: a true gem mint ten example, absolutely no flakes, chips, cracks, and no repairs present.
