Signed HN Henry N. Long Double Handle 4gal Jug
Description
Fine Signed "HN" Henry Newton Long (1858-1907) Double Handle Four Gallon Jug from the 1880s time period. The exceptional mature paint rock alkaline glaze with a strong HN stamp on the classic double handle syrup jug. This example is loaded with strong eye appeal, and the double handles just makes for fantastic form and presence. Most of Henry Newton Long’s pots are in extremely damaged condition, in this example is a collector grade example with only one chip in the lip and no other damage or repairs present. Standing: 14 1/2 tall
