Fine Documented in Alabama Folk Pottery Book page: 113 (Top Left Picture) Pittman Bros. Rockmills, Alabama One Gallon Salt Glazed Jug. Strong stamp on the shoulder with one concentric line encasing the jug. Strong eye pill and form along with a documented example in the Alabama folk pottery book makes this this piece a Cagle Top Shelf collector grade example. This example will be extremely difficult to upgrade from. Provenance: From the Earl & Barbara Turner Collection. Standing: 10" Tall
